Positive Behavioral Interventions and Support
Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is a research-based framework for creating opportunities for a more positive school campus that has less behavioral issues and greater academic success.
As a school level administrator, Tyson worked to ensure a PBIS system was implemented to benefit the greater community. With the efforts of the staff and community, the school received:
The PBISAz Merit Award after the school's first year of implementing a PBIS system in 2015.
The PBISAz Gold Award for three consecutive years 2016, 2017, and 2018.
When Veronica joined the school team in 2016, she was able to bring about further success of the PBIS program with the integration of a researched-based social emotional learning program that was ultimately implemented school wide. She also create a strong partnership with a behavior health organization to meet greater needs throughout the community.
As an organization, e3 Human Development works to impact schools and communities through the implementation and support of a school-wide PBIS system. With a solid plan and framework in place, schools will be able to see increased academics as well as well-rounded experience for all students.
It all begins with a free consultation meeting between e3 HD and a district or school leadership team to discuss where they are in the PBIS implementation process. We are happy to help districts and schools begin the process, or be a resource for further development.
Each district and school has a unique community, and after the initial consultation, an individualized plan will be created to support each site.
